October 1st is the National Day of China. This year's National Day holiday is set from Oct. 1st to Oct.8th, one day longer than previous years because it coincides with the Mid-Autumn Festival which falls on October 3rd,this year. We will back to work on Oct. 9th.

The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the mooncake festival, is the second most important festival to Chinese people, on which day all Chinese people will go home from every corner of the world to meet their family and have dinner with them.
Oct. 1st, 2009 is the 60th founding anniversary of the People's Republic of China. The government has planned a series of celebrations to celebrate the National Day, including a military parade and gala performance in Tian'anmen Square.
