Precision Flat & Fine Wire
Starting with rod or wire, and through the process of drawing, rolling and annealing, we produce flat and fine wire to your exacting and extreme dimensions. We have state of the art equipment that uses the latest in "on-line" gauging and data acquisition technology that generates full SPC reports. This enables you to have tolerances as tight as +/- .0001 (.0025mm) on our lightest gauges.
Consistency and highest quality from coil to coil and order to order is what our customers ask for. For certain industry applications we've developed a "focus factory", basically a factory within a factory, with dedicated equipment and employees to produce industry specific requirements.
Stainless Steel 304: Low carbon chromium nickel stainless and heat resisting steel somewhat superior to Type 302 in corrosion resistance. Specifications C MAX: 0.08 Ni: 8.0 - 10.5 Cr: 18.0 - 20.0 Mo: AMS: 5513 ASTM: A 240, A 666 Density: 0.29
Stainless Steel 304L: Very low carbon chromium nickel steel with general corrosion resistance similar to Type 304 but with superior resistance to intergranular corrosion following welding or stress relieving. It is recommended for use in parts which are fabricated by welding and which cannot be subsequently annealed. Specifications C MAX: 0.03 Ni: 8.0 - 12.0 Cr: 18.0 - 20.0 Mo: AMS: 5511 ASTM: A 240, A 666 Density: 0.29
Stainless Steel 316: Chromium nickel stainless and heat resisting steel with superior corrosion resistance to other chromium nickel steels when exposed to many types of chemical corrodents; superior creep strength at elevated temperatures. Specifications C MAX: 0.08 Ni: 10.0 - 14.0 Cr: 16.0 - 18.0 Mo: 2.0 - 3.0 AMS: 5524 ASTM: A 240, A 666 Density: 0.29
Stainless Steel 316L: Low carbon chromium nickel stainless steel with general corrosion resistance similar to Type 316 but with superior resistance to intergranular corrosion following welding or relieving. It is recommended for use in parts which are fabricated by welding and cannot be subsequently annealed. Specifications C MAX: 0.03 Ni: 10.0 - 14.0 Cr: 16.0 - 18.0 Mo: 2.0 - 3.0 AMS: 5507 ASTM: A 240, A 666 Density: 0.29
