Bag filter housings are a new type of precision filtration equipment that is easy to use and cost-effective, for the filtration of liquids containing higher concentrations of coarse solids.
They are particularly beneficial when handling batches of various liquids. It can be used as end-filtration or for the polishing of liquids with extremely low concentrations of solids.
Usually, it contains two types: single bag filter and multi-bag filter. That is there are one or more bags inside the filter vessel.
The bag filter consists of housing, supporting basket, and filter bag. The filter bag is supported by the stainless steel mesh which is the medium to intercept solid particles. The liquid will be fed into the housing from the inlet by the pump and then is evenly filtered by the filter bag under the pressure from the pump. The impurities will be trapped in the filter bag and filtered liquid go out from the outlet. And the filtration process is completed.
