Hub and lateral distributors are key components within ion exchange vessels. They are also commonly installed in sand filters, carbon filters, and other vessels to collect or distribute liquids/gases effectively.
Ion exchange hub lateral distributors are available in various configurations and can be installed on the top, bottom, and side of the vessel. Our lateral components can be custom-designed for vessels/systems.
Our distributors are made of wedge wire technology and high-quality stainless steel. The wedge wire design provides continuous slots, large flow areas, and uniform water distribution.
Connection Method of Hub Lateral Distributors
Standard NPT thread, flange connection, ANSI connection, fully welded assembly
Types of Hub Lateral Distributors
Ion exchange hub lateral distributors, also known as lateral assemblies, are divided into hub lateral assembly and header lateral assembly according to their installation position and function in the vessel.
1. The hub lateral assembly is used at the top or bottom of the vessel to distribute or collect liquid at the equipment outlet.
2. The header lateral assembly is used in the vessel's middle to evenly distribute and discharge liquid while preventing the medium (such as resin) from escaping.
3. Hub and header laterals assemblies have various shapes, including radial, fishbone, etc. It can be customized according to customer requirements.
